Wave goodbye to those block prints and Hello to over the top, 90’s grunge. One impoticular which got my head racing is Tartan, oh yes, Tartan. That word means different things to different people, for a print which they trace back to 1744, why wouldnt it? For me however, the word Tartan brings one designer and era to mind, Vivienne Westwood, In the 1970’s when she opened her Boutique on the Kings Road London called ‘Let it Rock’, or later known as ‘Sex’. She then went on to dress famous rock and roll stars like The Sex Pistols. Regardless of the history, it seems to keep coming back into our high street shops, last being the 90′, now the 90’s hve hit autum winter 2013 with a bang!
